Fresh Lemon & Mint Ice Cubes

Every night we go to bed with the best intentions for the day ahead, but sometimes snooze gets whacked or life simply gets in the way. So begin your day the right way with these easy digestive starters. Even if the sun isn’t shining, plop a couple into a hot cuppa or your two litres of daily water.

Time: 2 Minutes + freeze time

Makes: 12 Cubes 


  • Lemon Squeezer
  • Ice cube tray
  • Freezer


  • 6 Fresh Lemons (Reece)
  • 12 Fresh Mint Leaves (Reece)


  1. Squeeze all the lemons into a jug.
  2. Fill the ice cube tray to the rim.
  3. Delicately add 1 leaf to each cube.
  4. Freeze for minimum 4 hours.

Suggested Uses:

  • Hot lemon tea
  • Flavoured ice cold water
  • Defrost for salad dressings
  • Add to Smoothies
  • Add to Cocktails
